200hs Multi-Style YTTC Galapagos

This holistic experience of Yoga comes in a retreat format. What makes this course extra special is the deep immersion in nature's greatest experiment: The Galapagos Islands, in Ecuador.

This transformational adventure is open to all sentient beings without age limits or previous experience requirements.

It’s happening – are you ready to be a part of it?

Our time together on this adventure is an opportunity to expand and thrive together and to remember what is essential in life. Not only to find tranquility and happiness, but we will raise the well-being of our homes, bodies, and planet!

Vinyasa Radja Yoga School follows a lineage of secular spirituality, free of dogmas, to spread and teach Yoga to achieve health and explore other human dimensions aimed at self-improvement.

Our School is part of Latin America's most extensive Yoga instructors and practitioners network. Our Training is a specialty of the RA Yoga Integral® curriculum and gives access to the 200, 300, or 500 hours of the higher diploma endorsed by Yoga Alliance USA.

PROGRAM

We start every day with yogic practices and a delicious breakfast at the lodge and end it with intuitive movement, meditation, or arelaxing Yin Yoga practice. We will have 2 workshops, one in the morning, other in the afternoon, some of the activities are excursions included in the schedule.  We will have enough time to go on adventures, connect with each other at the workshops, and enjoy nature.

Arrival & Departure

It would help if you took the earliest flight possible on the first training day or, ideally, arrived one day before.

Drop off at Baltras Airport will be around 10 am on the last training day, so make sure you have a flight booked at least 2 hours later.

After such an experience in Galapagos, you might not want to leave. It's okay; you don't have to! We can help you arrange to stay longer or visit other enchanted locations in other Islands, the Amazon, and the Ecuadorian Andes, before or after the retreat.

NUTRITION

Most of the meals will be prepared with fresh, locally sourced products from agroecological farms. This includes freshly roasted coffee, herbal teas, and fruit juices.

We believe and encourage a plant base diet so the meals at the lodge will be vegetarian and vegan versions of traditional Ecuadorian dishes.

Some meals will be in town, where you can try the local seafood or stick with the veggie options.

Water, tea, are always available.

MOBILITY PLAN

Getting here is half the adventure... so enjoy the ride(s)!

You will initially arrive on the desolate island of Baltra, where only iguanas, cactus, the military base, and the airport live. You might use every possible and impossible vehicle that day...After the plane, bus, ferry, pick-up truck, and speedboat, you will arrive at the TTC location.

Experience the Galapagos Islands at their most natural. Our peaceful and magical waterfront location is in Punta Estrada, a privileged natural area outside of busy Puerto Rico Ayora Town. So lets Kayak/Paddleboard around the Bay, breath-work, and snorkel. You will have direct access from a private dock.

We are located 5 min a walk from "Playa de Alemanes" and "Las Grietas," one of the most charming places in the Galapagos Islands. This is a place to relax, walk the beautiful oceanside, turn your gaze to the beautiful heavens, and admire nature.

HOW TO GET HERE (FLIGHTS, AIRPORT TRANSFERS, BOATS)
To get to the Galapagos Islands, fly into Ecuador through  Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) in Quito or through José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport(GYE) in Guayaquil.

From there, you can take connecting flights to the Galapagos islands.

We recommend you book your flights to Galapagos and a hotel near these airports since there is usually an overnight layover. We will provide the transfer to the lodge from the Ferry dock near Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island.

Suppose you'd like to explore more of mainland Ecuador. In that case, we can set you up with tours of colonial cities, hikes to volcano lagoons, colorful artisan markets, the Amazon rainforest, and much more.

Instructors

Nelson Pacheco

Nelson is a pioneer in the practice of Yoga in Ecuador. He started practicing yoga more than 30 years ago, although throughout his experience he have explored different methods and styles with different masters. Hatha Yoga, Restorative, Kundalini, Raja, Vinyasa Iyengar and more. He started the Kundalini Yoga School in Ecuador. Nelson directed the NY Yoga Center for some years, and worked on the continuous training of teachers of NY, and Chicago. Nelson also opened an holistic center in Quito, Ecuador. He had also shared hundreds of courses and teacher trainings in different cities. Throughout his life as a teacher and student, yoga became not only a personal or physical practice, but more and holistic way of life.

Juliana Franco

Her path in yoga began nine years ago. In this process, she has come to understand yoga as a path for self exploration, expansion and rediscovering of the essence of the being. A deep, constant path that integrates the care of life in all of its dimensions. Juliana has trained with various teachers. She share different Asana practices (hatha, hatha vinyasa, restorative, yin, aerial, acroyoga, yoga nidra); Pranayama; Yoga Philosophy, Raja Yoga and meditation.

Juliana also shares sound as a teraphy, vibrations and frequencies that help to harmonize the body, mind and soul. She acomppanies her sessions and sound baths with gong, cuencos, kalimbas, rain sticks, guitar and more instruments.

Juliana Vera

Juliana began her path of connection with her body through contemporary dance and hatha yoga. Thus she became aware of the importance of movement and body care for well-being. This led her to study Biodecoding.  Later she connected with shamanism and the power of nature to heal the body and mind.  Her curiosity for self-healing made her study Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Body Therapies.

Juliana has practiced different types of yoga such as ashtanga yoga, hatha-vinyasa, kundalini yoga and Kaula Trantra yoga. In her classes you will learn about the power of the mind, how to regulate your nervous system through the practice and breathing.

Mangroove House

The wooden cabin is the perfect space for nature lovers. It is cozy and wild at the same time, fully surrounded by mangroves and an infinite sea. So be prepared to find marine iguanas and sea lions parking next by. It enjoys a private bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, and a magical terrace next to our private waterfront in Punta Estrada.

Whale Room

This single room has a spacious and comfortable double bed. It has a private bathroom, and a beautiful view to the sea.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend you book travel insurance so you can book and travel worry-free.
Here are a few options, but there are many more:

  • World Nomads
  • InsureMyTrip
  • TravelGuard
  • Just ensure they include emergency flight transportation to adequate hospitals because the hospitals in the Amazon are very limited.
